Bloodwood Ballpoint Twist Pen!

Stand out from the crowd with this beautiful black ink pen! If you are tired of using cheap pens in the office, school, or at home then it's time to upgrade to one that has some character. Bloodwood grain is one of the best with a variety of brown, black, and reddish lines and swirls which are accentuated by the chrome hardware. The pen has a good weight and feels great in the hand. It is smooth writing and has an easy to use twist mechanism to extend and retract the tip.

I turned this pen in July of 2021 from a gorgeous bloodwood blank. I turn all pens by hand on the lathe at my local maker space, Maker 13, in Jeffersonville, IN. I start with a large roughing gouge then move to a smaller tool once the wood blanks are round. Once the blank is the correct size I sand from 150 to 600 grit and finish the pens with a gloss wax and polish.
